We Have Band and Daithí at The Academy 2, Dublin.

So last night I went to see We Have Band in The Academy 2. Their support was Daithí Ó Drónai known for using his fiddle in a more modern twist with synthesizers and loop stations. I was quite impressed by his set so much so I went and bought his E.P which I suggest everyone to do the same http://daithi.bandcamp.com/album/embrace-e-p. He also has some free downloads on there too.
I took some photos of his set, unfortunately I didn't take any of We Have Band. But they were without a doubt amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed it and I really hope they come back soon!

I went a bit mad on the editing but why the hell not!

Wanda Jackson - Thunder On The Mountain

Wanda Jackson known as the Queen of Rockabilly is an American singer, songwriter, pianist and guitarist. She rose to fame in the 1950s-60s. You can also see Jack White famous for being in The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather among countless other projects/group/collaborations! I wonder how many more he can do.

Great Outdoors

I have always loved taking pictures of the outdoors and nature. Its just easier then taking photos of people sometimes because they don't talk back usually.

This was taken on a trip down in Kerry along Dingle Peninsula. Just had my camera at the right time.

Taken with the first camera I got, a fuji finepix point and shoot which I still have today. Its been through the wars and never failed me.

Back To The Future

I found this website and thought that it would be an interesting way to do self portraits if anyone wants to have a gander. I know we are finished them but it doesn't mean we cant improve them if we want to seeing as they are going in our visual diaries. The transition between some of the images is amusing!
